Pilman and its beautiful, yet demanding, course in the Žďárské vrchy. The race started well, with only a minute and a half gap to Tomáš Řenč after the swim. I managed to catch him early on the bike, and we rode together until the end, where my chain dropped 5 km before the finish, and Tomáš created a decisive lead. However, I comfortably held on to my second place during the run.
